114 tons Magnesium sulphate was transported by 40NOR to Brazil

Recently, 114tons Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate was successfully transported from Tianjin Port to Santos Port, Brazil, via the "40NOR" (Non-Operating Reefer, non-operational refrigerated container). To ensure that the cargo is protected from jolts and impacts during transit, the carrier laid a high-strength plastic film on the bottom and inner walls of the container, effectively cushioning the uneven surface and significantly reducing the risk of cargo damage.

Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate, as an important chemical raw material, is widely used in agriculture, medicine, and industry. However, it’s PP+PE bag is easily be damaged during long-distance transportation due to vibrations and friction, affecting quality. For this shipment, a cold substitute dry container NOR (which does not activate the cooling function but uses its sturdy box and excellent sealing) was employed, and an innovative anti-vibration plastic film was laid inside the container to isolate the cargo from the bottom of the container, preventing damage caused by sea transportation turbulence.

This scheme not only improves the safety of transportation, but also reduces the loss rate of customers' goods. Brazilian importers highly recognize this transportation scheme, believing that it significantly improves the availability of goods after arrival, and will consider promoting it in more fertilizer transportation in the future.
